The house in Woodbury

We discovered when we started looking for a place up in the Woodbury area, that finding a house big enough for our family might be a bit of a challenge.  Our choices were limited, and our 'search criteria' were numerous - we needed at least 5, preferrably 6 bedrooms, we wanted to have a family room and a living room, we needed a large kitchen, space to homeshool (as we didn't realize we wouldn't be doing that much longer), we wanted a bit of property (about 5 acres) we were hoping for a creek, and some woods, Lon was hoping for workshop space, I was hoping for crafting space, Annie was hoping for a pasture where she could one day keep a horse, and we wanted to be on a quiet road.

Would you believe me if I told you we got all of that?  And for less than we sold our place in Camas for!!  God is SO good!!!

We moved in mid March of 2014, and the 'settling in' took an inordinately long time.  Partly because my 'crew' was reduced to pretty much "Emma and I" - the three younger kids were enrolled in school pretty much right away, Sarah was still in Huntsville, working as a nanny, and just about 5 weeks after the move Annie left, and didn't come back!! (that sounds worse than it was, but it's a pretty accurate description, nonetheless)

In fact we are still waiting to find time to get out to Lon's workshop and get it organized.  Maybe 'next Sunday..."  *sigh*
