His name is Joel Krupf. He is a student at the little Woodbury school, also a 10th grader. His father is Mennonite, though Joel comes to our church most weeks, with Em. They are good friends and have a good time together, and we enjoy having Joel over, often, for them to study together, or just hang out. He's even been known to help Lon our with projects like repairing the dishwasher and he has also brought me chocolates and flowers!! (see why we like him?!) His family traveled to Chicago for the Thanksgiving holiday and Emma went with them. They all seem to have had a nice time, and Joel's extended family wants to know when Em will be coming back!
